Morgan has used ash wood in the construction of its cars for a century. The Plus 4 was offered as a two-seat or four-seat sports car and as the more luxurious drophead coupe, with 556 dropheads built between 1950 and January 1969. From 1962 it used the 2,138 cc Triumph TR4 four, and the bonnet fits so closely that there is no room for an air filter. Ours is a 1964 Morgan Plus drophead coupe in black over a brown interior.
