The E-Type Series 1 was introduced in March 1961, at first for export only, as a two-seat coupe or open two-seater. It used the triple-SU 3.8-liter XK six from the XK150S, rated at 265 bhp and 240 lb-ft, good for 150 mph. Early cars had external bonnet latches that needed a tool, and a flat floor. This one is a 1962 Jaguar XKE Series 1 convertible in white over a red interior.
