The Type 2 is known as the Kombi, the Microbus or, in Germany, the Bulli. Wind tunnel work gave it a split windshield and a vee-shaped roofline, cutting drag to a Cd of 0.44. From 1955 it carried the spare behind the front seat and had a tailgate-style rear door. This particular example is a 1957 Volkswagen Bus in Dove Blue, with a manual gearbox. A custom build, it has a full camper interior in diamond-stitched upholstery. A big motor and lowered custom suspension pair with Porsche wheels and brakes.
