1978 was the Corvette's 25th anniversary, and every 1978 car wore silver anniversary emblems on the nose and fuel door. A new fastback rear window improved aerodynamics, luggage space and rear visibility. Inside, a real glove box replaced the old map pockets. You're looking at a 1978 Corvette coupe in black with T-tops, with an automatic gearbox.
