The first-generation NSX was the first production car with an all-aluminium semi-monocoque body, and its cockpit layout was inspired by the all-round visibility of an F-16 fighter jet. Its C30A VTEC V6 used titanium connecting rods and revved to 8,300 rpm, rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft. The body went through a 23-step paint process. Ours is a 1991 Acura NSX in black over a cream interior.
