The second-generation Camaro was introduced on February 26, 1970, on the F-body platform. It used a unibody with a front subframe and leaf springs on a solid rear axle. The 1971 Camaro got only minor appearance changes from the 1970. Its launch in late September 1970 coincided with a 67-day strike across GM. You're looking at a 1971 Camaro coupe, with an automatic gearbox.
