Mustang production began on March 9, 1964, four months ahead of the usual model year, so the earliest cars are known as 1964½ models. Even so, Ford marketed them all as 1965 cars. The 1966 Mustang brought moderate trim changes: a new grille, side ornamentation, wheel covers and gas cap. Here we have a 1966 Mustang coupe, with a manual gearbox.
