For 1962 the Impala got new C-pillar styling on every model except the four-door hardtop. The 348 V8 gave way to the 409, offered at 380 or 409 horsepower and only with a manual transmission. The Super Sport option had debuted the year before. Here we have a 1962 Impala SS with a 409 on two four-barrel carburetors and a manual gearbox. Finished in Roman Red, it is in perfect condition inside and out.
