The Impala debuted for 1958, GM's 50th anniversary year, as a top-of-the-line Bel Air hardtop or convertible. It stood apart with symmetrical triple taillights and rode a longer wheelbase than lower-priced Chevrolets. No other series offered a convertible. The 348, Chevrolet's first big-block V8, was optional. Ours is a 1958 Impala convertible with a 348 V8 and an automatic gearbox. It keeps all-original trim and desirable accessories on lowrider wheels, fully restored to show quality.
