The FL5 Civic Type R was introduced on 20 July 2022 for the 2023 model year. It runs 19-inch wheels on wide 265/30 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Its wider track comes from fully reshaped rear doors and quarter panels, not plastic add-ons. Inside are red carpets, semi-bucket seats and the Honda LogR data logger. The 2.0-liter turbo K20C1 carries over from the FK8. This example is a 2023 Civic Type R with a manual gearbox, set up as a tuner.
