The 997 was the sixth-generation 911, an evolution of the 996 that replaced its fried egg headlamps with round units. The first phase, the 997.1, ran from 2004 to 2008. Manual cars use a six-speed gearbox. Ours is a 2006 911 coupe in Acid Green over a black interior, with a manual gearbox.
