The E39 5 Series ran from 1995, and E39 production continued until May 2004 even after the E60 arrived. The 540i uses the M62 V8, and manual cars got the six-speed Getrag 420G. For 2003 the E39 gained extra chrome trim on the trunk and body sides. This one is a 2003 540i sedan in Titanium Silver Metallic, with the six-speed manual.
