For 1993 Cadillac brought back the Fleetwood as a rear-wheel-drive sedan, replacing the Brougham as its largest sedan. It was the first American line to move from rear-wheel drive to front-wheel drive and then back again. Fleetwood Brougham became a trim option, and Cadillac retired the Fleetwood after 1996.
