The W140 S-Class was Mercedes-Benz's flagship from 1991 to 1998, built in two wheelbases. From the 1994 model year every version took the S name, so the 500 SEL became the S500. Early W140s used guide rods that rose from the rear corners of the trunk lid in reverse, replaced by Parktronic sonar in 1995. Here we have a 1994 S500L, the long-wheelbase sedan, in mint condition with reclining rear seats. It rides on custom 20-inch Lorinser D93 wheels in polished aluminum with Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
