The third-generation Firebird ran from 1982 to 1992. GM considered making it front-wheel drive, but dropped the idea and focused its engineering on aerodynamics and the chassis. For 1989, most Firebird models were nearly identical to the 1988 cars. This car is a 1989 Firebird in Gunmetal Metallic, with an automatic gearbox.
