The most widely accepted meaning of CR-X is "Civic Renaissance Experimental." Honda completely redesigned it for the 1988 model year, the first year of the second generation. Ours is a 1988 CRX Si in Limerock Orange, a BMW paint color (U94). The interior is slightly modded, with Bride bucket seats and a black color scheme.
