Development of the NSX traces back to around 1984, when Honda tested a Honda City cut in half with its engine behind the driver's seat. The finished car is a two-seat, mid-engine sports car, sold in North America as the Acura NSX. Its engine was the world's first production car engine with titanium connecting rods. This one is from 1991, the first model year, finished in Silverstone Metallic over a black interior.
