Volvo launched the 700 Series in 1982 with the premium 760. The more basic 740 followed two years later, sharing the same bodywork. The 700 Series was gradually replaced by the 900 Series beginning in 1990. Ours is a 1987 740 Turbo sedan in metallic blue.
