The second-generation Toronado of 1971 to 1978 became a more traditional front-drive luxury car, closer to the Cadillac Eldorado. It pioneered two high-mounted taillights above the trunk. From 1974 to 1976 it was part of GM's first production run of driver and passenger airbags. For 1974 it gained a stand-up hood ornament, a 5 mph rear bumper and optional opera windows. This particular example is a 1974 Toronado in Citation Bronze.
