The 1970 Datsun 240Z was introduced in October 1969 with the L24 2.4-liter straight six, a manual choke and a four-speed manual. Early cars built to mid-1971 carry a chrome 240Z badge on the sail pillar and two horizontal vents in the rear hatch. In 1998 Nissan bought original 240Zs, restored them to factory specifications and sold them through its dealers. This car is a 1970 Datsun 240Z restored to factory specification, in silver over a black interior.
