The Sports 800 is Toyota's first production sports car, nicknamed the Yota-Hachi. It uses a 790 cc 2U-B flat twin and a four-speed manual, and its prototype had a sliding canopy. Toyota built 3,131 from 1965 to 1969, including 538 in 1967, the year first gear gained synchromesh.
