For 1965 Westfalia offered a new framed side tent for the split-window Camper, with large screened windows and a frame that could stay at the campsite while the bus drove off. From the 1964 model year the bus had a wider rear door. Many Volkswagen Campers were bought by American servicemen and sent home in the 1950s and 1960s. This example is a 1965 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper in green over a grey interior.
