For 1965 the Corvette Sting Ray got an all-new braking system. Its hood lost the scoop indentations, and three working vertical vents replaced the fake speedlines on the front fenders. Midyear brought the 396 big-block with 425 horsepower. After just 771 fuel-injected cars that year, Chevrolet dropped the option. The one we have is a 1965 Corvette convertible in Silver Pearl, with a manual gearbox.
