The W111 sedans were Mercedes-Benz's fintails, named Heckflosse in German for their pointed tailfins. In May 1965 the new 230 S replaced the 220 Sb and 220 SEb, with a modernized 2.3-liter twin-carburetor six making 120 horsepower. The last four-door fintails ended in January 1968. You're looking at a 1966 230 S sedan with a manual gearbox.
