The Honda S600 launched in March 1964. Its DOHC 606 cc four uses four Keihin carburetors and makes 57 horsepower at 8,500 rpm, good for 90 mph. Each rear wheel is driven by its own chain inside a sealed, oil-bathed case that also works as a trailing arm. Honda built 3,912 roadsters in 1964.
