When Messerschmitt returned to aircraft in 1956, Fritz Fend and Valentin Knott formed FMR to keep building the Kabinenroller. The KR201 Roadster launched in 1957 and stayed in production until 1964 in very limited numbers. In February 1958 a KR200 Kabrio Limousine followed, with a cloth top and fixed side window frames. This car is a 1963 Messerschmitt KR201 cabriolet in teal over a black interior.
