The third-generation Impala of 1961 to 1964 was the first on the GM B platform. For 1962 every model except the four-door hardtop got new C-pillar styling, and 1962 was the final year for the 235 six. Ours is a 1962 Chevrolet Impala convertible in pale yellow, set up as a lowrider with hydraulics.
