The 1955 Type 14 Karmann Ghia was only the second Volkswagen passenger car, after the Beetle. It paired Beetle floorpans and mechanicals with Italian styling. Its body panels were butt-welded, hand-shaped and smoothed, unlike the machine-welded Beetle body with bolt-on fenders. The one we have is a 1958 Karmann Ghia Okrasa coupe in blue over a cream interior.
