Eshelman built small American cars from 1953 to 1961. From 1956 the smaller models used Briggs and Stratton aluminum-block engines, the 2.25-horsepower 6B in the standard series and the 2.75-horsepower 8B in the deluxe cars. Adult Sport Car models had contrasting-color interiors, and a factory brochure advertised 70 mpg. This car is a 1956 Eshelman Adult Sport Car in yellow over a yellow interior.
