Rometsch was a German coachbuilder founded in 1924. Its Beeskow and Lawrence models put a Rometsch body on the Volkswagen Beetle chassis, as coupes and convertibles, at about 17 cars a year. Estimates of total Rometsch production run from at least 200 to as many as 585 bodies. Here we have a 1955 Rometsch cabriolet in black over a red interior.
