The W111 line was built from 1959 to 1971, and its coupes ran from February 1961 to July 1971. The coupe and cabriolet replaced the W128 220 SE two-doors. The W111 saloons wore pointed tailfins that earned them the Heckflosse, or fintail, nickname. Ours is a Mercedes-Benz W111 coupe.
