The Emira replaced the Evora, Exige and Elise as Lotus's sports car. It was launched in July 2021 and went into production in 2022. Its engine sits crosswise behind the seats, driving the rear wheels. Ours is a 2024 Emira First Edition in green over a black Alcantara interior.
