The M4 replaced the coupe and convertible versions of the M3 when BMW split them off as the 4 Series. BMW M added an upgraded engine, suspension, exhaust and brakes, plus more carbon fiber to save weight. Through the 2018 model year the F82 used a carbon fiber driveshaft, removed from mid-2018 production to fit a particulate filter. This particular example is a 2018 M4 in Alpine White, with an automatic gearbox.
