The 12C marked McLaren's return to production cars for the first time since the F1 ended in 1998. The C stands for its carbon fiber MonoCell structure, which weighs 80 kilograms. Its 3.8-liter M838T twin-turbo V8 drives through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The retractable-hardtop Spider debuted in July 2012. The one we have is a 2013 12C Spider in Supernova Silver, with upward-opening doors.
