The third-generation Escape was designed by Ford of Europe alongside the Kuga and arrived for 2013. It offered a hands-free liftgate that opens with a kick under the rear bumper. Much of its carpet is made from recycled plastic water bottles. This 2013 example is finished in grey over a brown interior, with an automatic gearbox.
