The third-generation Range Rover, the L322, was first developed as the L30 under BMW ownership, with electronics shared with BMW's 7 Series and 5 Series. From 2005 its electronics moved to Ford and Jaguar systems, and for 2006 a Jaguar V8 replaced the BMW unit. Ours is a 2009 Land Rover Range Rover, with an automatic gearbox.
