The Gallardo Superleggera was unveiled in 2007. Carbon fiber for the diffuser, undertray, mirror housings, door panels, center tunnel and engine cover, plus titanium wheel nuts and carbon sports seats, made it 100 kg lighter than the base car. Production was limited to 618 units. This one is a 2008 Gallardo Superleggera coupe, with the e-gear automated gearbox.
