The R230 SL tucks its Vario Roof, a retractable hardtop, into the trunk. It introduced Keyless Go and Active Body Control to the SL. Its headlamps have a peanut shape. The SL500 runs a 5.0-liter V8. This 2004 example is finished in silver over a cream interior, with an automatic gearbox.
