The R129 SL was facelifted again in late 1998, with new mirrors, 17-inch wheels and new bumpers. The SL 500 got the new M113 5.0-liter SOHC V8, rated at 302 horsepower. Xenon headlamps were optional on the SL 500. This one is a 2000 SL500 convertible, with an automatic gearbox.
