The X100 Chaser replaced the X90 in September 1996, offered mainly in luxury Avante and sporty Tourer trims. For this generation the 1JZ-GTE moved from twin turbos to a single turbo, and gained VVT-i. Because power was already at the Japanese makers' voluntary limit, the upgrade went into more torque. The one we have is a 1999 Chaser Tourer V, right-hand drive, in White Pearl Mica with a manual gearbox. It wears tasteful Japanese street-style modifications.
