The 4Runner has been sold since 1984, and in Japan it was called the Hilux Surf. For the 1999 model year it received major cosmetic and interior updates, including a heated side mirror tied to the rear defrost. The one we have is a 1999 4Runner, one owner since new, a V6 two-wheel-drive SUV with an automatic gearbox. It has the sport package with a hood bulge and fender flares, and it is 100 percent stock.
