The Silver Shadow was the first Rolls-Royce with slab-sided unitary body and chassis construction and all-around independent suspension. In 1977 it became the Silver Shadow II, gaining rack and pinion steering and front suspension changes that markedly improved handling. Here we have a 1979 Silver Shadow II in Walnut, with an automatic gearbox.
