The 911SC arrived in 1978 with a 3.0-liter aluminum engine, Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and the five-speed 915 gearbox. Porsche moved to aluminum to regain crankcase reliability lost with magnesium. RS stands for Rennsport, race sport. This particular example is a 1978 911SC coupe in yellow over black, built as an RS tribute with custom paint.
