During the 1970s energy crisis, Airstream launched the Argosy, a painted line built largely of aluminum like the classic Airstreams but lighter and less expensive. In 1974 Airstream began building a Class A motorhome, also badged Argosy. Ours is a 1978 Airstream Argosy motorhome, 28 feet long, all original, with an automatic gearbox. It runs and drives great.
