BSA built the Lightning from 1965 to 1972 as its all-round sports 650, planned largely for export to the United States. With twin carburetors it could reach 108 mph, and from 1969 it gained a twin leading shoe front brake. This 1971 Lightning has a blue tank and side panels, chrome fenders and a black seat.
