The 912 was Porsche's four-cylinder entry model based on the 911, offered as a coupe and Targa. The first Targas had a removable roof and a zip-out plastic rear window, later called the soft-window Targa, and a fixed glass version arrived in January 1968. About 2,500 912 Targas were built. This example is a 1968 912 soft-window Targa in light yellow over black.
