The first Firebird shared its Coke bottle styling with the Camaro, but its bumpers were integrated into the front end. Its slit taillights were inspired by the GTO and Grand Prix. Pontiac had wanted a two-seat sports car, and the F-body Firebird was its consolation prize. For 1968 the base six grew to 250 cubic inches. Here we have a 1968 Firebird convertible in Spring Mint.
