The BMW 1600 GT grew out of the Glas GT, a sports coupe first shown in 1963 with a body designed by Frua. After BMW took over, 1,259 BMW-badged cars were built between June 1967 and August 1968, using a 1,573 cc engine. Here we have a 1967 BMW 1600 GT coupe in silver.
