The Shelby GT350 debuted on the first-generation Mustang fastback in 1965. Every 1965 and 1966 car used the 289 HiPo K-code V8, fitted with a large Holley four-barrel to make 306 horsepower and 329 lb-ft. Marketing called it the Cobra hi-riser, after its high-rise intake manifold. The 1966 GT350 added a rear seat, optional colors and an optional automatic. This example is a 1966 Shelby Mustang GT fastback in dark blue over a black interior.
