The earliest Mustangs went on sale four months ahead of the 1965 production year, so enthusiasts call them 1964½ cars. For 1966 the Mustang got a new grille, side ornamentation, wheel covers and gas cap. The one we have is a 1966 coupe finished in red over a black interior.
